My favorite hench? The ranger interruptor hench ... he is pretty good at nailing all those 1 second cast spells

Nice, I love the addition of these interrupting henchmen. My favorite one is the Domination one (can't remember the name). Much more useful than Dunham or Reyna!

Although it's probably just lucky timing, I've been pretty impressed at the reaction time of these interrupters. It's about time we have some Rockshot Devourers on our side! (Referring to the antagonists of the former Griffon farming runs)

Tengu hench isn't anything special, it's just Stefan in a bird man suit, and yeah, the interrupter henchies really do rock.

Evil Dinosaur Hench>Tengu Hench

I really like the idea of non-human henches...especially if all the new monsters decide EoE bombing should be their flavor of the month

His noise is quite bothersome. However, equally so is the crab pet noise. However, both have a plus side. The crab running at your enemies sideways kills me everytime and the tengu henchie is huge, adding a feeling of security in your hench.

Well, that lasted for about a second until I remembered that I had one as a Henchie. But I swear each time he grunts is check my radar, looking for the attacking flock of birdies.

As bothersome as it can be, I love it.

Good Job ANet.
Dear god, that thing terrifies me every time it makes that 'wark!' sound. I immediately hit distortion and X and scan the area behind me for tengu.

Still think avicara henchie is awesome

Do you think he'll be one of those henchies who is there all the way through the game; Stefan stylee? Or one who joins at a later point; Devona stylee?

Also, don't let your defenses drop...when you come up against real Avicara and you hear *that* noise...don't forget to attack

.. like others, the tengu henchman--while I appreciate him--terrifies me with his chirp. I, too, am trained to respond with a radar check when I hear the tengu, and I have to constantly remind myself that, hey, he's on your team this time, not demolishing it. ;P

For my money, I'm just impressed that Anet made such a compelling -and such a dangerous- enemy as the Tengu. Even when they're on your side, you can't help watching your back.

I think it's because the Mineral Spring Tengu really were designed nicely- Fierces are one of the meaner creatures in the game, and can even kill 55 monks with a ignite arrow dual shot or two. Those bastards get some genuine feeling out of me. If Factions can bring that feeling to the game, and improve on it...PvE should be a barrel of monkeys.

Hah, I did the same thing when I ran outside with him the first time. I'm running along, I hear that grunt, and I'm like, "What the heck?!" Look at my radar; nothing. Hear it again. . . . "Oh yeah, the tengu henchie." Felt a bit silly after that one.

I also <3 the domination henchie. Interrupts are so nice.
